The ETH Student Summer Research Fellowship is run each year by the Department of Computer Science at ETH Zurich.
Bachelor’s and master’s students from anywhere spend July and August in Zurich, working on a project inside one of the department’s research groups. About 20 fellows take part each year.

Eligibility
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s in computer science or a closely related field
- Not enrolled at ETH Zurich
- Expected to graduate in the year after the fellowship or later
- Two years of study completed by the programme start
- Free for the full two months of July and August
- Good working English (the programme runs only in English)
Application process
- 1Prepare a CV, transcript, GPA, a one-page motivation letter and one or two preferred research areas.
- 2Apply through the SiROP portal by 16 December 2026, 13:00 CET.
- 3Shortlisted candidates may be interviewed in English.
