SUFONAMA is a two-year Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in sustainable forest and nature management, run by a five-university consortium.
Everyone spends year one in Copenhagen, then specialises and writes a thesis at Bangor University (Wales), the University of Göttingen, the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (Alnarp) or the University of Padua. The track is chosen at application and is binding. Graduates receive a double degree (120 ECTS).
Benefits & funding
- Erasmus Mundus Scholarship: up to €33,600 (€1,400 a month for up to 24 months) for travel, visa, installation and living costs, plus a tuition waiver.
- Without it: no tuition for EU/EEA/Swiss citizens; €33,600 for the programme for everyone else.
- Non-scholars heading to Göttingen, SLU or Padua can apply for an Erasmus Mobility Grant, expected at €450–500 a month in year two.
- No application fee.
