The American Degree Program (ADP) is Duy Tan University’s on-site route to a United States bachelor’s degree, running in Da Nang since 2014. Students take a US curriculum in English without leaving Vietnam, and the degree is issued directly by Troy University.
The scholarship is decided during admission and waives tuition at four levels, from 30% up to a full 100%. Three majors are open: Computer Science, Business Administration, and Tourism & Hotel Management.
For the 2026 intake the university listed 10 full, 25 half and 30 talent awards, plus an uncapped 30% encouragement tier. Duy Tan closed its 2026 enrolment on 30 August 2026, so the next set of terms is expected with the 2027 admission round.

- The ADP office’s 2024 round carried 50 awards worth more than 18 billion VND across the same Troy tracks.
Eligibility
- Open to applicants admitted to the Troy-degree tracks at Duy Tan University.
- Full award: a first, second or third prize in the national excellent-student competition or the national science and engineering fair run by the Ministry of Education and Training, or a provincial or city first prize; or a three-subject admission total of 26 or more in the 2026 national high school exam; or a valid IELTS of 5.5 with a two-subject total of 17 or more (Maths or Literature plus one non-English subject).
- Half award: a second or third prize in a provincial or city excellent-student competition run by the provincial Department of Education and Training; or a three-subject admission total of 23 or more; or a valid IELTS of 5.5 with a two-subject total of 16 or more.
- Talent award: a valid IELTS of 5.5 or above plus high school graduation.
- Encouragement award: children or biological younger siblings of Duy Tan staff, of high school teachers, or of education-department staff.
- Renewal each year needs a GPA on the 4.0 scale of 3.2 in engineering or 3.4 in economics for full holders, and 3.0 or 3.2 for half holders.
- No nationality or residency rule is published. The talent award gives eligible graduates of recognized foreign high schools a stated route: a valid IELTS of 5.5 or above plus high school graduation, without Vietnamese exam scores or school prizes. The full and half awards still use Vietnamese exam results or named school prizes.

Application process
- 1Pick an ADP major and apply for admission to Duy Tan University through one of its six 2026 routes: direct admission, national high school exam results, school transcripts, the Vietnam National University aptitude test, V-SAT results, or a foreign high school qualification.
- 2Submit the scholarship file with the proof the level needs — exam scores, a valid IELTS certificate, or the competition award.
- 3Enrol in person at 254 Nguyen Van Linh, Da Nang during the enrolment window, bringing the acceptance notice, a notarised copy of the high-school transcript, a notarised copy of the diploma only if you graduated before 2026, a copy of the birth certificate, and any language certificate.
- 4Hold the stated GPA each year to keep the waiver for the rest of the four years.
