CYBERSURE is a two-year, 120-ECTS Erasmus Mundus joint master’s in Cybersecurity and Assurance delivered by a seven-university European consortium. All students complete the first year at NTNU in Trondheim and Gjøvik, Norway, then move to one of six partner universities for a specialization and jointly supervised thesis.
The English-taught curriculum combines cybersecurity engineering, cryptography, assurance, compliance, risk management, a one-week summer school, and an encouraged summer internship. Applications for the 2027 intake open on 16 November 2026.

- Erasmus Mundus scholarship recipients receive EUR 16,800 per year as a contribution toward travel, visa, installation, and living costs.
- The programme states that full scholarships cover tuition, travel, insurance, and a living allowance; partial scholarships covering tuition are also available.
- Applicants may also join as self-funded students; the programme does not publish a single consortium-wide tuition figure.

Eligibility
- Applicants of all nationalities may apply; there is no stated residence, gender, age, or work-experience requirement.
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized higher-education institution, equivalent to at least 180 ECTS or three years of full-time study.
- Applicants from outside the EU/EEA must submit their final degree certificate and consolidated transcripts by the application deadline.
- Applicants from the EU/EEA who are in their final year may apply with their most recent transcripts and receive conditional admission, provided they graduate by 31 July 2027 and their certified degree documents reach the admission office by 15 August 2027.
- Relevant prior studies include mathematics, computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or management of information systems, with a strong academic record.
- Applicants must satisfy the programme’s English-language requirement through an accepted test or a stated exemption route; test results are due by 18 January 2027.
- A previous Erasmus Mundus Joint Master scholarship makes an applicant ineligible for another EMJM scholarship, but the programme also has self-funded admission.

Application process
