CyberMACS is a full-time, 120-ECTS Erasmus Mundus joint and double master’s programme in applied cybersecurity. The consortium is coordinated by Kadir Has University and includes Ss. Cyril and Methodius University and SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences.

Students begin in Istanbul and continue through compulsory mobility, with second-year study in Berlin or Skopje. Graduates receive degrees from the two consortium universities where they study.

Benefits & funding

  • The Erasmus Mundus scholarship route provides €1,400 per month for two years, waives registration and tuition fees, and covers programme participation, travel, and a living allowance.
  • Merit-based Admission I waives tuition, offers part-time research-assistant support at Kadir Has University, and provides free housing at UKIM excluding utilities.
  • Merit-based Admission II waives tuition but provides no scholarship.
  • The Affordable Education Track charges €5,175 for the full programme, including administration and insurance.
  • All students receive comprehensive health and accident insurance for the programme duration. Students remain responsible for transportation, accommodation, and subsistence costs.

Eligibility

  • Applicants of all nationalities may apply; no residence requirement is stated.
  • Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized higher education institution, normally equivalent to at least 180 ECTS or four years of full-time study, and the degree must qualify them for master’s study in the awarding country.
  • Final-year bachelor’s students may apply if they graduate and provide the degree certificate by 17 August 2026.
  • Applicants must meet the published English-language requirements. The site lists TOEFL iBT, TOEFL PDT, C1 Advanced, C2 Proficiency, and PTE Academic, with exemptions for specified long-term residence backgrounds.
  • A complete online application and all compulsory documents must be submitted by the deadline.
