The Creative Destruction Lab Student Fellowship Program is a Rotman School fellowship for up to 20 incoming Full-Time MBA and Evening MBA students. It is intended for students committed to exploring careers in entrepreneurship and startups.

Recipients join CDL strategic courses and gain access to events and startup experience. CDL-Toronto is based at Rotman and connects business students with early-stage science and technology ventures.

Eligibility

  • Open to incoming Rotman Full-Time MBA and Evening MBA students.
  • Applicants must be committed to exploring careers in entrepreneurship and startups.
  • Applicants enter through their chosen MBA program and must meet that program’s admissions requirements.
  • For the Full-Time MBA route, Rotman requires an appropriate bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least a 3.0 GPA in the final year; it normally requires two years of full-time work experience, with exceptions for some combined-degree applicants.
  • Full-Time MBA applicants must also satisfy the published test and English-language requirements or qualify for an exemption.
  • No nationality, residency, age, or gender restriction is stated for the fellowship.
