Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI) is a multidisciplinary postgraduate institute in Bangkok, founded in 2005 under the initiative of Professor Dr HRH Princess Chulabhorn. Its international scholarship funds citizens of any country (Thai nationals apply through a separate CGI track) to pursue a two-year Master’s degree in one of three science fields. The award is fully funded and begins with a six-week refresher course before the degree program itself. It is aimed at young science graduates who want research-focused graduate training in Thailand.

Eligibility
- International applicants only (Thai citizens have a separate CGI scholarship track).
- Under 30 years of age at application (no exemption).
- Bachelor’s degree with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 in sciences (chemistry, biology, biological sciences, molecular biology, environmental sciences), medical sciences (medicine, medical technology), or pharmacy / pharmaceutical sciences; applicants from other related fields are also welcome.
- Prior experience in scientific laboratory research.
- Demonstrated English proficiency (TOEFL or IELTS, or a university letter confirming English-medium instruction).
- A statement of purpose explaining the applicant’s study interests.
