This one-off 2024 call awarded five scholarships for the three-year Sustainable Building Engineering bachelor’s programme at Sapienza University of Rome’s Rieti campus. It was limited to non-Italian citizens residing outside Italy who enrolled for the 2024/25 academic year.

The award combined an annual stipend with a tuition-fee exemption. Applications closed on November 14, 2024, and the official page now carries the completed ranking documents.

Benefits & funding

  • Each of the five scholarships provided €7,098.62 gross per year for three years, including €6,542.51 gross IRPEF and €556.11 IRAP.
  • Recipients were exempt from university tuition but still owed a €30 single contribution, stamp duty, and the Lazio regional tax.
  • The three annual instalments were scheduled for February 2025, February 2026, and February 2027, subject to enrolment, immigration-status, and credit requirements.

Eligibility

  • Applicants had to be non-Italian citizens residing outside Italy and enrolled in 2024/25 in Sustainable Building Engineering at the Rieti campus.
  • Applicants needed a College Board SAT certificate showing a passing result and score.
  • Applicants could not hold another scholarship; the Sapienza award was also incompatible with the regional DiSCo scholarship.
  • The first payment required confirmed enrolment and a study visa; later payments required continued enrolment and residence-permit status, plus 25 ECTS by August 10, 2025 and 80 ECTS by August 10, 2026.
