ICCCAD runs this year-long fellowship to build young Bangladeshis’ capacity in climate resilience. Fellows mix online classes with a residential workshop, a field visit in Bangladesh, mentoring and policy engagement.
The 2026 call closed on 30 August 2025. Earlier calls came in June 2023, December 2023 and October 2024; no call for a 2027 cohort is posted yet. The Sweden-funded CAP-RES project behind the 2024 cohort is set to end on 31 December 2026.

Eligibility
- Citizen of Bangladesh, aged 18–30.
- Undergraduate student or recent graduate.
- Basic climate-change knowledge and strong motivation, good analytical, writing and speaking skills, and leadership practice; climate work experience is a plus, not required.
- Willing to travel for national and international programmes and field visits.
- Certification needs at least 80% of online classes, the residential workshop, the field visit and monthly reports.
