The Brooke Owens Fellowship supports undergraduate women and other gender minorities who want careers in aerospace, across technical and non-technical fields. The Class of 2027 is the program’s eleventh cohort.
Selected Fellows join a host-company summer internship, receive individual mentorship, and attend a professional-development summit. The program also connects each cohort with peers, industry leaders, and the alumni community.

Eligibility
- Be an undergraduate enrolled at a college or university and have completed at least one year toward a bachelor’s or associate degree.
- Identify as a woman or another gender minority and be at least 18 years old.
- Be interested in an aerospace career; engineering and non-engineering academic fields are welcome.
- Applicants of all nationalities may apply, although ITAR restrictions can limit eligibility for some host opportunities.
- No minimum GPA is stated.

Application process

- 2Prepare a current résumé or CV, a transcript showing at least one completed graded semester, and one recommendation letter.
- 3Create a personal statement of up to 600 words, a mission-alignment essay of up to 300 words, and a non-essay multimedia submission under 250 MB that reviewers can assess within five minutes.
