Brain Bee Syria is the country’s official national affiliate of the International Brain Bee and launched its national neuroscience competition in 2026. Both stages of the launch-year competition are online.
The qualifying national track is for Syrian students in grades 9–12, including those living outside Syria; early-stage competitors may use Arabic or English, while the national final is in English. Top first-stage qualifiers enter a 10-day online bootcamp, and the national winner earns the opportunity to represent Syria at the IBB World Championship.

Eligibility
- Applicants must be Syrian students; residence in Syria is not required.
- The 2026 qualifying national track accepts students in grades 9–12 through Bakaloria.
- Grade 9 students may choose either the qualifying national track or Junior Prep in years when both run, but may enter only one track per year; Junior Prep did not run in 2026.
- The launch-year stages are online, and the site publishes no age cutoff beyond the school-grade requirement.
