The Fernand Pisart entrance bursaries are paid from the Pisart bequest and run by the Pisart Jury of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at the University of Liège (ULiège).
They go to pupils in their last year of secondary school (“rhéto”) who will start civil engineering studies at ULiège, in Liège, Belgium, the following September.
Benefits & funding
- 20 Pisart bursaries each year, plus extra bursaries from the student association AEES (3 per the Fonds Pisart page; 2 of €750 each per the 2026 application form).
- The amount is set each year from the available budget and the winner’s social situation, judged by the ULiège tuition fee rate they ask for.
Eligibility
- Pupils in the final year of secondary school (“rhétoriciens”, the last year of Belgian French-speaking secondary school).
- Must be starting civil engineering (ingénieur civil) studies at ULiège.
- Per the 2026 form, the applicant’s school must send a representative to the selection jury meeting; files from schools without one are inadmissible.
- No nationality rule is stated.
