The Bloomberg Journalism Program (United Kingdom) is a short, intensive business- and financial-journalism training run by the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media together with Bloomberg News and the Department of Journalism at City St George’s, University of London. Over five days in London, undergraduates at UK universities learn the fundamentals of reporting, editing and applied business and economic knowledge alongside Bloomberg News journalists and UNC and City St George’s faculty. It is aimed at students interested in a journalism career who are not already specialising in business journalism; no prior business background is required.

Eligibility
- Currently an undergraduate student at a university in the United Kingdom.
- Incoming second-year undergraduates and above; graduating bachelor’s students are also welcome.
- A strong interest in a journalism career, including the potential to pursue business journalism.
- No business or business-journalism background required.
- Students from diverse backgrounds, perspectives and lived experiences are encouraged to apply.
Application process

- 3Include a 500-word writing sample identifying your professional role model in journalism.
- 4Provide contact information for one academic reference.
- 5Finalists are contacted for a video-conference interview after the deadline.
