Official Page

The project is a 2026 online research placement at Özyeğin University supervised by Assistant Professor Ayşe Çetinel. One undergraduate intern will build a Python and agentic AI workflow that processes major retailers’ 10-K, 10-Q, and annual reports.

The work includes segmenting filings, querying large language models, classifying AI-related passages, and extracting structured fields. Intended outputs include a catalog of AI narratives, company-level summaries, and simple question-answering or visualization tools.

Benefits & funding

  • The placement is a voluntary, full-time internship lasting approximately 4–6 weeks; the university does not publish a salary or cash stipend.
  • Program-wide support includes laboratory access, technical training, supervision, summer accommodation, and lunch; applicants should confirm which location-based benefits apply to this online project.
  • The intern gains practical experience building agentic AI pipelines and converting unstructured corporate disclosures into structured data.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be current undergraduates in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or Economics.
  • Applicants need solid basic Python skills, including functions and CSV handling, plus some familiarity with Pandas.
  • Applicants should be comfortable reading English-language business documents and interested in AI applications in retail and digital commerce.
  • Undergraduate students enrolled outside Turkey may apply; no nationality or residency restriction is published.
