The Visiting Scholarship is run by the Officers for equal opportunities for women in science and the arts at the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Law of FAU (Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg), Germany. It is paid from the faculty’s 2023–2027 targets for raising the share of women in academia.
It sends early-career women researchers already at the faculty to a research institution abroad for up to three months. It does not fund visits to FAU.
Benefits & funding
- Up to €2,200 a month, at most €6,600 in total, toward the costs of the stay; funding is subject to availability.
- Up to three months, no extension; holders may reapply.
- Duty: a report on the stay within two months after funding ends, and later updates on your career.
- Publications from the stay should credit the FAU scholarship.
