AMASE is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in advanced materials science and engineering, coordinated by the European School of Materials (EUSMAT) at Saarland University with partner universities in Sweden, France, Spain, Austria and Italy.
Students spend the first year at an Entrance University and the third semester at a Second University teaching in another language, then write the thesis at either, earning a double M.Sc.
Benefits & funding
- Full Erasmus Mundus scholarship: €1,400 a month for 24 months (€33,600), tuition for four semesters and EU health insurance; no separate visa, travel or housing money.
- Partial scholarship: tuition waived for four semesters, plus health insurance.
- Without a scholarship: €1,500 (EU) or €4,500 (non-EU) per semester.
- No allowance for periods in your country of residence or last degree.
Eligibility
- Open to all nationalities.
