The 2026 China–Italy Summer School on Advanced Manufacturing was an annual exchange organized through the China–Italy Joint Laboratory on Advanced Manufacturing and hosted by Tsinghua University’s Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronic Technology. Participants attended lectures, laboratory and company visits, and cultural exchanges in Beijing and Shanghai.
The 2026 call was limited to current master’s and doctoral students in Tsinghua’s Department of Electrical Engineering. English was the working language, and the department planned to recruit 10 graduate students for an expected cohort of about 60 Chinese and Italian participants.

- Participants who completed the full program and performed strongly received priority consideration for the 2027 summer school in Italy.
