Women in Finance and Tech Master Scholarship — Master's Scholarship

BI Norwegian Business School’s Women in Finance and Tech Master Scholarship rewards academically strong women entering selected finance and technology master’s programmes. Study takes place at BI’s Oslo or Bergen campus, depending on the programme.

It is an entrance award for a first master’s degree, open to Norwegian and international citizens. The page still describes the autumn 2026 intake; BI’s full-time application portal opens each 1 November.

Benefits & funding

Full tuition fees for up to two years; no living-cost or travel payment is listed.
Renewal needs 30 ECTS each semester and a cumulative B average on BI’s ECTS scale after every semester.
Recipients must be ready to act as BI Ambassadors in recruitment and student life.
The award is tied to one programme and campus and cannot be transferred.

Eligibility

Women with Norwegian or international citizenship.
Minimum overall GPA of 4.0 on the ECTS scale; BI converts international grades.
Seeking a first master’s degree, with an accepted admission offer to Business (Finance major), Business Analytics, Data Science for Business, Finance, Sustainable Finance or Quantitative Finance.
Women in the third year of BI’s Siviløkonom programme may also apply.
No age or work-experience requirement is published.

Application process

Apply for an eligible master’s programme on BI’s admission portal by 1 March, requesting the scholarship in the same application.

Upload one PDF combining a CV and a scholarship letter of at most one page; nothing can be added after submission.

Accept the admission offer while the scholarship decision is pending.

Third-year Siviløkonom students email their CV and letter to info@bi.no instead; BI Presidential and MSc International Scholarship applicants are considered automatically.
