The Winter Korean Culture Camp 2026 is a six-day, five-night cultural-immersion program run by AYFN Academy (with local partner Cendekia Mendunia) in Seoul, South Korea, from 1 to 6 February 2026. It is designed for students, youth, and lifelong learners who want a structured introduction to Korean language and culture, blending an online pre-departure Korean class with hands-on activities and guided excursions. The camp runs as a paid program (from USD 950) with a limited, competitive scholarship track that waives the program fee and supports flights for selected applicants. It is part of AYFN Academy’s recurring seasonal camp series, so a passed cycle reopens the following year.
Benefits & funding
- Scholarship track (limited, selective): a program-fee waiver plus flight-expense support for chosen applicants.
- Self-funded track: open to anyone, no selection process, program fee from USD 950.
- Included for participants: a pre-departure “Basic Korean Language Class” online via Zoom (about one week before departure); shared accommodation (2–3 participants per room, separated by gender); authentic Korean meals with on-site staff guidance; guided cultural activities and sightseeing; and an official e-Certificate of Participation from AYFN on completion.
- Activities include wearing the traditional hanbok, visits to Gyeongbokgung Palace, Jogyesa Temple, Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Cheonggyecheon Stream, Bukchon Hanok Village and Insadong, a K-pop experience at HiKR Ground, a Nami Island excursion, and a guided DMZ tour (Panmunjom and the Third Tunnel).
