Winter Japan Culture Camp 2027 — Cultural Exchange

The Winter Japan Culture Camp 2027 is a six-day cultural immersion program run by AYFN Academy, held 25–30 January 2027 and based in Osaka with visits to Kyoto and Nara.

Participants from any country join heritage walks, a kimono experience and sightseeing, with English as the working language and no Japanese required. Places come through a competitive scholarship (Gold or Silver) or a self-funded booking.

Benefits & funding

Gold: program-fee waiver (worth up to USD 1,100), flight support up to USD 750, visa-fee support up to USD 50
Silver: the same waiver and visa support, flight support up to USD 250
Covers 6 days / 5 nights in a shared room, 4 breakfasts and 4 lunches, scheduled activities, local transport, e-certificate
Not covered: remaining airfare, insurance, personal costs
Self-funded: USD 950–1,700 by room type and price tier, plus a 5% processing fee

Scholarship: aged 17–40; self-funded: aged 15–40
Able to communicate in English; no Japanese needed
Interest in travel and culture, leadership potential, physical and mental health
Ready to document all activities
Self-funded participants must cover all costs and return home after the program

Application process

Buy the required e-book (USD 16); there is no separate application fee, and one receipt covers one applicant.

Prepare an English Europass CV, a 250-word motivation letter and a 250-word essay on your career aspirations.
