The Wharton Student Experience Fund provides need-based support to current Wharton MBA students participating in selected experiential programs. Eligible programs are Global Modular Courses, Global Immersion Programs, Semester in San Francisco, and Wharton Leadership Ventures.
The fund is administered through the Wharton Financial Aid Office. Public pages describe the covered program categories and cost types, while detailed instructions require PennKey access.
Benefits & funding
- Funding may be used for specific costs connected with an eligible experiential program.
- For Global Immersion Programs, eligible costs can include program or participation fees, flights, gear, and program-defined personal expenses.
- For Leadership Ventures, support is reimbursement-based; students pay the program fee first, and reimbursement may arrive only after the Venture ends.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be current Wharton MBA students.
- Funding decisions are based on a financial-need review managed by the Financial Aid Office.
- The requested costs must relate to a Global Modular Course, Global Immersion Program, Semester in San Francisco, or Leadership Venture.
- The public official pages state no nationality, residency, gender, age, or work-experience restriction.
