Westlake University’s Summer Research Internship places students in laboratory or theoretical projects led by principal investigators in science, engineering, life sciences, and medicine. The one-month, in-person program takes place in Hangzhou and also includes research forums, interdisciplinary discussions, and cultural activities.
The general program page covers domestic and international students, while the published 2026 international announcement sets a separate eligibility route for non-Chinese citizens. The 2026 cycle ran from July 13 to August 14 and is now closed.
