The University of Warwick offers this scholarship to academically strong, self-funded students assessed as overseas fee payers. Recipients begin an eligible full-time undergraduate or foundation course at Warwick in Coventry.
The 2026 cycle covered all subject areas except MBChB and used a separate scholarship application after the applicant’s UCAS submission. The award supports tuition fees for the normal duration of a three- or four-year course.
Benefits & funding
- Warwick’s indicative 2025 award mix was 6 full-fee awards, 148 half-fee awards, 103 awards covering 25% of tuition fees, and 6 awards of £2,000.
- The award continues for the full three- or four-year course, subject to satisfactory academic progress.
- The scholarship covers tuition fees only; recipients must fund their own living costs.
- A compulsory placement or exchange year carrying a tuition fee may receive proportional support, while support is normally paused for an optional year.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be self-funded and classified as overseas or international fee payers. Savings, support from family or friends, and student loans count as self-funding; employer, third-party, or external scholarship funding does not.
- Applicants must have applied by 14 January 2026 for a full-time Warwick undergraduate or foundation course starting in autumn 2026. Any subject was eligible except MBChB.
- Applicants had to submit the scholarship application by 12:00 GMT on 27 February 2026 and hold a Warwick offer by 13 May 2026.
- Current Warwick students were ineligible except International Foundation Programme students progressing to undergraduate study. Applicants transferring directly into the second year were ineligible.
- Warwick cannot reserve an award for a recipient who selects the university as an insurance choice.
