Walpole Scholarship — Master's Scholarship

The Walpole Scholarship is an MBA tuition award offered by London Business School with Walpole, the UK luxury sector body. It is for admitted MBA candidates employed by a Walpole member organisation in luxury or retail.

Recipients study the LBS MBA in London and are expected to contribute to the School’s Luxury & Retail Club. The award favours candidates intending to remain in the sector after graduation.

Benefits & funding

The award covers up to 50% of MBA tuition fees.
The LBS MBA is described as a two-year programme with flexible exit points from 15 to 21 months.

Eligibility

Be a successful applicant to the London Business School MBA.
Be employed by a Walpole member organisation in the luxury or retail industries.
Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and meet the MBA admission requirements.
No nationality, residency, gender or age restriction is stated for the scholarship.
Preference is given to candidates who plan to continue in luxury or retail after graduation; the recipient is expected to contribute to the Luxury & Retail Club.

Application process

Submit the MBA application with the required essays, one-page CV, referee details, valid GMAT or GRE score, university transcripts, any required English-language score and the £200 application fee.

Eligible candidates are considered automatically for the Walpole Scholarship; there is no separate scholarship application.
