Rewriting the Code (RTC) runs the Virtual Career Summit as a one-day online recruiting and career-development event. The 2026 summit is scheduled for October 7 from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. ET.
Members meet recruiters from 25+ companies through talks, panels, small-group or one-to-one chats, and a career fair. The event also provides resume feedback, interview and negotiation guidance, peer connections, and access to RTC’s continuing community.

Eligibility
- RTC membership is required, and participants must register for the summit through the myRTC portal.
- RTC membership is open from university study through the first six years of work in technology; summit sessions serve experience levels from first-year students to graduating seniors and early-career candidates.
- RTC states that participation is open to everyone while centering women in tech; it publishes no nationality or residency restriction for this virtual event.
- Participants need a device that can access the interactive virtual platform.
