Vicky Noon Cambridge Scholarship — Bachelor's Scholarship

The Vicky Noon Cambridge Scholarship supports Pakistani students beginning full-time study at the University of Cambridge. Cambridge Trust offers it with the Noon Educational Foundation, and the award is tenable at any Cambridge College.

For 2026/27, it covered undergraduate and Master’s study in Natural Sciences, Applied Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences; PhD applicants could be considered occasionally, with subjects decided case by case. Premium-rate courses were excluded.

PhD recipients could apply for up to six additional months of maintenance for an optional writing-up period.

Eligibility

Pakistani nationality and residence in Pakistan, with Overseas fee status.
Prospective full-time undergraduate or Master’s applicants; PhD applicants may be considered occasionally.
Undergraduate and Master’s courses must fall within Natural Sciences, Applied Sciences, Humanities or Social Sciences; PhD subjects are considered case by case.
Premium-rate courses are not eligible.
Selection considers academic merit and financial need, including hardship.
Awards normally go to applicants who have not previously studied outside Pakistan; the official wording does not make this an absolute bar.

Application process

Choose an eligible University of Cambridge course and College route.

Submit the relevant admissions application by its deadline and obtain a conditional offer.

Undergraduate applicants apply through UCAS; applicants paying Overseas fees are invited by their College to complete a Trust funding application and are put forward by the College.

Postgraduate applicants use the Applicant Portal, request funding consideration and answer the additional scholarship questions shown there.

Provide the financial information requested for assessment of need.
