The Rotman School of Management awards this scholarship to one incoming Black student in its Full-Time MBA on the basis of outstanding academic merit. It was established with contributions from Rotman alumni, the Rotman community and the Laidlaw Foundation.
The recipient studies in Toronto in Rotman’s 20-month, in-person MBA, which combines 16 months of academic study with an opportunity for a four-month paid internship. Entrance-award consideration is integrated into the MBA admissions process.
Benefits & funding
- The recipient receives a financial award toward the Full-Time MBA; Rotman’s current scholarship page does not state the present amount.
- Rotman’s 2020 launch announcement described the scholarship as $20,000 in student support, but the current page does not confirm that historical amount for the present cycle.
