The Taiwan-Europe Semiconductor Scholarship Program supports eligible international students admitted to semiconductor-related master’s or PhD programs at National Taiwan University in Taipei. NTU automatically considers eligible degree applicants, so there is no separate scholarship application.
The current open route is NTU’s 2027 February graduate entry. Scholarship consideration is tied to the university admission process.
Benefits & funding
- One economy-class round-trip ticket is reimbursed up to NTD 100,000, stated as EUR 3,125.
- Tuition support is capped at NTD 60,000, stated as EUR 1,875, per semester; recipients pay other fees.
- The monthly stipend is NTD 30,000, stated as EUR 940, for master’s students and NTD 40,000, stated as EUR 1,250, for PhD students.
- Support lasts up to two years for a master’s degree or four years for a PhD.
- NTU’s program page lists an annual renewal GPA of at least 2.7, while its current-student scholarship page lists 3.38 for graduate recipients; applicants should confirm the current threshold with the Office of International Affairs.

- Hold citizenship of Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Poland, or Slovakia.
- Apply to an NTU master’s or PhD program related to semiconductors.
- Hold the prior degree needed for the selected graduate program.
