The Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong Scholarship is awarded in the Chamber’s name and administered by Uppsala University for degree study in Uppsala, Sweden. It supports eligible students entering an international bachelor’s or master’s programme.
The award covers part of tuition for one academic year; its value is disclosed only after recipients are announced, and living costs are excluded. The 2026 round is closed, and Uppsala University says the next scholarship round will open in early 2027.

Eligibility
- Hold a valid passport of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
- Apply on time to an international bachelor’s or master’s programme at Uppsala University and rank it as the first priority at University Admissions.
- Meet all entry requirements and ensure any admission application fee and complete supporting documents reach University Admissions by its deadline.
- Demonstrate academic talent and interest in participating in an educational environment.
- Have enough separate funding for living costs required for study in Sweden.
- Applicants admitted to the Joint Nordic Master’s Programme in Environmental Law; Biology NABiS Nordic Master in Biodiversity and Systematics; Evolutionary Biology – MEME; Implementation, Transformative Learning and Sustainability; Religion in Peace and Conflict; Transformative Game Design; or Turkic Studies are ineligible.
