Qatar University offers this competitive scholarship to academically outstanding new bachelor’s students residing in Qatar. Recipients study in person at Qatar University in Doha.
The Recruitment Track covers specified colleges and majors, while the Excellence Track is open across all university colleges, subject to available places. Both tracks support the university’s goal of attracting strong students.

Eligibility
- Applicants must reside in Qatar and hold a high school certificate or equivalent.
- Applicants must receive final, unconditional admission to Qatar University.
- Applicants cannot receive this scholarship together with another scholarship or sponsorship.
- Recruitment Track applicants must enter a designated college or major and remain in that college and major after receiving the award.
- Excellence Track applicants may apply across all university colleges; selection is competitive and depends on available places.
- To continue the award, recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 out of 4.0, complete at least 12 credit hours each semester, remain continuously enrolled in fall and spring, and finish within the period set by their study plan.
