Official Page

Sapienza University of Rome runs a shared student-collaboration scheme through calls issued by faculties and university structures. Selected students support libraries, museums, laboratories, sports facilities, teaching spaces, orientation and information services, disability support, or tutoring at Sapienza sites in Rome, Latina, and Rieti. Each call names its posts and specific requirements, while all applications use the central Borsecoll system.

The scheme accepts only currently enrolled Sapienza bachelor’s, master’s, and single-cycle students up to the first year beyond the normal course duration. Calls normally begin in September, and each remains open for at least 30 consecutive days.

Benefits & funding

  • The standard collaboration pays €1,295 tax-free for 150 hours of work during the academic year.
  • Roles supporting students with disabilities or specific learning difficulties pay €1,500 tax-free.
  • Work is normally scheduled in shifts of at least two and no more than four hours per day, according to the host structure’s needs.
  • A student who resigns or graduates is paid for completed work only after performing at least 26 hours.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be enrolled at Sapienza University of Rome in a bachelor’s, master’s, or single-cycle master’s degree, no later than the first year beyond the normal course duration.
  • Bachelor’s and single-cycle students normally apply from their second year and must have earned at least two-fifths of the credits expected by the preceding academic year.
  • First-year master’s students may apply; students in later master’s years must meet the same two-fifths credit threshold and remain within the first year beyond the normal duration.
  • PhD, advanced professional course, and specialisation-school students are not eligible under the central rules.
  • There is no separate nationality, residence, gender, age, or work-experience gate; individual calls may restrict eligible degree courses or require specified exams.
  • Students may submit up to eight applications in an academic year but can receive only one collaboration scholarship.
