The Fellowship Training Program is a one-year place with the Stockton Symphony, a professional orchestra based in Stockton, California, for violinists building an orchestral career. Two section violin fellowships are offered per cycle. Fellows rehearse and perform with the orchestra across the concert season.
Around the playing, the orchestra adds coaching from a principal player, mentoring from music director Peter Jaffe, critiques from stand partners, and mock auditions with Stockton Symphony musicians. The work is paid at $125.11 per service. The Sphinx Organization lists the program in its fellowship directory.
