The Space Generation Fusion Forum (SGFF) is the annual delegate event of the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), the network that represents students and young space professionals to the United Nations. The 14th edition ran 10–13 April 2026 at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado, immediately before the 41st Space Symposium (13–16 April 2026) at the same venue. Delegates aged 18 to 35 come from engineering, policy, law, business and government backgrounds and work through breakout sessions, expert panels, keynote presentations and speed networking.
Virtual sessions run in the weeks before the in-person days. Conclusions from the discussions are compiled into a report for the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS).

- Global Grants Programme: USD 10,000 split between the selected winners, covering most of the round-trip economy airfare to Colorado Springs, lodging, visa costs, and the registration fees for both SGFF and the Space Symposium.
- Discussion output is written up for the UN COPUOS report, giving delegates a route into a UN process.
Eligibility
- Aged 18 to 35 inclusive at any point during the event dates.
- National of a United Nations member state; the Global Grants Programme also accepts nationals of UN observer states.
- Registered member of SGAC — membership is free and open to anyone in the age range.
- Open to students and young professionals from any field; no degree level or work-experience minimum is set.
- Global Grants Programme: for current or past SGAC volunteers with sustained contributions to the organisation; judges, organisers and previous recipients of comparable awards are excluded.

Application process
- 1Register as an SGAC member on the SGAC website — free.
- 2Complete the SGFF delegate application form, which asks four extended questions: motivation and the impact you expect to have (max 150 words), what you want to grow in personally (max 100 words), relevant experience (max 250 words), and the top challenge facing the space industry that is not being sufficiently addressed plus how you would solve it (max 200 words).
- 3Applicants who want funding submit two one-minute videos inside the same delegate application — one on past SGAC contributions, one on why they should be selected — by the earlier grants deadline.
- 4Submit before the delegate deadline, 23:59 MST in the 2026 round.
- 5Wait for the outcome; the 2026 round promised results by January at the latest.
- 6Once selected, pay the registration fee and arrange travel to Colorado Springs, or rely on a Global Grant if awarded one.
