Official Page

The SEO Law Impact Scholarship is an annual award for students about to start law school in the United States. It is run by SEO Law, which SEO set up in 1984; SEO itself was founded in 1963.

Each year the scholarship pays one $10,000 award and two $5,000 awards toward tuition, fees and books. SEO Law says it recognizes leadership, resilience and a clear sense of purpose in pursuing a legal education.

The scholarship has its own application and review. Applicants do not need to apply to, or be admitted to, the SEO Law Fellowship.

Benefits & funding

  • One $10,000 scholarship and two $5,000 scholarships each year.
  • The money goes toward law school tuition, fees and books.
  • SEO Law does not say whether an award is paid once or renewed in later years of law school.

Eligibility

  • A current applicant in the law school admissions cycle (2025–2026 for the 2026 round).
  • At least one official score from an approved test: LSAT, GRE, GMAT or JD-Next.
  • At least one law school application already submitted.
  • Plans to enroll at an ABA-accredited law school that fall (Fall 2026 for the 2026 round).
  • The scholarship page sets no citizenship, residency, age, GPA or minimum-score rule; the GPA, LSAT and US work-authorization thresholds on the Fellowship page are Fellowship rules.
  • Applicants are final-year undergraduates or graduates, since recipients start law school that year.
