Özyeğin University’s Robotics Laboratory hosts two undergraduate engineering students for a summer research internship supervised by Assoc. Prof. Ozkan Bebek. The project develops artificial tissue models, bio-inspired skin, and 3D-printed tissue scaffolds for biomedical and robotic uses.

Interns select and prepare materials, fabricate and test prototypes, integrate sensors, analyze data, and report results. Laboratory work is on site in Istanbul, with possible hybrid work for data analysis and documentation.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program and have completed at least 150 ECTS credits.
  • Applicants need either a GPA of at least 3.00 or an A in one of the specified courses for mechanical, electrical, computer science, biomedical, materials, or robotics study.
  • Students enrolled at universities in Turkey, at Özyeğin University, or in undergraduate programs outside Turkey may apply; no nationality or residency restriction is stated.
  • An official transcript is required.
