Official Page

RISE is Rewriting the Code’s career-development series for university women from their first year through their first role. It combines live virtual workshops with recorded access through the RTC member community.

The series develops practical skills, confidence, and career clarity across seven areas, including recruiting, professional acceleration, technology trends, financial independence, and cultural affirmation. Individual sessions are announced through RTC’s events system rather than through one annual cohort application.

Benefits & funding

  • RISE sessions are free with RTC membership.
  • Members receive live virtual workshops, with recordings made available for on-demand access.
  • The seven program areas are interest exploration, recruiting success, confidence and self-care, professional acceleration, financial literacy and independence, technology trends and tools, and cultural affirmation.

Eligibility

  • RISE supports women from their first university year through their first role in technology.
  • RTC membership is required to access the free programming and register for events.
  • RTC describes its student membership review as non-selective and checks that applicants are real people pursuing technology careers as students.
  • No nationality or residency restriction is stated; RTC describes its student community as global.
