The Riady-LKY School Scholarship supports Indonesian students pursuing the two-year, full-time Master in Public Policy at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. It is intended for applicants who combine excellent university results with four to five years of work across no more than two companies.

Candidates must present a clear vision for social entrepreneurship, explain policy challenges affecting society, particularly Indonesia, and propose implementable solutions. The scholarship also looks for commitment, leadership and contributions to better outcomes in public or social-purpose sectors.

Benefits & funding

  • Tuition, medical insurance, examination and other approved fees are covered.
  • Recipients receive a monthly maintenance allowance throughout the study period.
  • A one-time book and settling-in allowance is included.
  • Economy travel from the home country to Singapore and return travel after graduation are covered by the relevant scholarship terms.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be citizens of Indonesia.
  • Applicants must hold a good bachelor’s degree; the scholarship requires an excellent academic record from a reputable university.
  • Applicants must have a total of four to five years of work experience across no more than two companies.
  • Applicants must demonstrate a clear social-entrepreneurship vision and the ability to articulate policy challenges, particularly those affecting Indonesia, with workable solutions.
  • Applicants must show commitment, leadership and contributions to better social outcomes in public or social-purpose sectors.
  • Written and spoken English proficiency is required for admission to the MPP.

Application process

    Prepare the MPP application materials: degree scrolls and transcripts, a CV or résumé, applicable English-test evidence, a personal statement of no more than 500 words and two referee reports; GRE or GMAT is optional.

    Create or use an account in the NUS Graduate Admission System and submit an online application for the Master in Public Policy.

    Indicate in the application that financial aid is required so the committee can consider the applicant for eligible scholarships.

    Submit the application and all supporting documents by 15 December 2026 at 11:59pm Singapore time.

    The financial-aid result is communicated with the admission offer.
