Reitan Retail Master Scholarship — Master's Scholarship

The Reitan Retail Master Scholarship supports one academically strong applicant admitted to BI Norwegian Business School’s Master in Business in Oslo or Bergen. Reitan Retail funds the award, while BI manages applications and selection.

The scholarship follows the two-year standard study plan and is tied to the awarded programme and campus. The published 2026 round has closed.

Benefits & funding

Full tuition fees for up to two years, subject to continued academic progress.
No internship, thesis counselling, or employment opportunity is attached to the award.
BI does not list support for living or travel costs.

Eligibility

Citizenship of Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, or Sweden is required.
Applicants must have a minimum overall GPA of 4.0 and a superior academic record.
Applicants must apply to and accept admission to the Master in Business at BI’s Oslo or Bergen campus.
The award is for applicants seeking their first master’s degree; third-year BI Sivøk students may also apply.
Recipients must complete 30 ECTS each semester, maintain at least a cumulative B on BI’s ECTS scale, and be prepared to serve as BI Ambassadors.

Application process

Apply for the Master in Business and the scholarship at the same time.

Prepare a scholarship letter of no more than one page explaining the academic case for the award.

Upload the letter in the Scholarship section of the admission application, together with all required admission documents.

Accept the admission offer while awaiting the scholarship decision. Third-year BI Sivøk students instead email a CV and scholarship letter to BI using the required subject line.
