Refugee Academic Futures Scholarships — Master's Scholarship

The Refugee Academic Futures Scholarships are the University of Oxford’s Academic Futures route for refugees and people with lived experience of displacement. This record covers the one-year, full-time Master of Public Policy (MPP) at the Blavatnik School of Government in Oxford.

Benefits & funding

Full Oxford course fees (the 2027–28 MPP fee is £54,650) for the full fee-liability period.
A grant toward living costs.
An optional on-course support programme with induction activities and networking events with other Academic Futures Scholars.

Eligibility

Refugees, or people displaced within or beyond their home country by conflict, persecution or other serious human-rights violations or deprivations.
An offer for the one-year, full-time Oxford MPP starting in 2027–28.
Barriers to continuing education and limited financial support for university study.
No master’s-level degree already completed.
No nationality or residence restriction; the MPP sets no fixed work-experience requirement, though most admitted students bring one to two years or more.
