Official Page

The RECAS Regional Fellowship supports researchers working on youth agency and new political imaginaries in the Western Balkans. The Regional Network of Centers for Advanced Studies in Southeast Europe hosts the program through the Universities of Rijeka and Belgrade, with optional co-hosts at six partner universities.

Fellows conduct fieldwork, test methods, engage local scholarly communities, and connect research to societal challenges. The 2025 theme focused on youth political imaginaries and eco-digital futures, with activities spanning workshops, a policy hackathon, and regional research-policy exchange.
