AECID’s COOPERACIÓN programme provides extracurricular training in development-cooperation management for young Spanish university graduates. Participants train for 11 months in Spanish Cooperation Offices and AECID specialist Training Centres abroad.
The programme is run by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation. The 2025–26 application window is closed, and no 2026–27 reopening date has been published.
Benefits & funding
- An 11-month extracurricular training placement in a Spanish Cooperation Office or specialist Training Centre abroad.
- A monthly stipend and Spanish Social Security registration; the exact destination-level amount is set in Section 6 and Annex I of the call.
Eligibility
- Spanish nationality is required.
- Applicants must hold a university Licenciatura or Grado degree.
- Applicants must be no older than 27 on 31 December 2025 for the latest published cycle.
- Only one scholarship application per person was permitted in the 2025–26 call.
