Programa de becas de capacitación para jóvenes españoles de formación en gestión de cooperación al desarrollo en las Oficinas de la Cooperación Española y en las Oficinas de la Cooperación Española especializadas – Centros de Formación (Programa COOPERACIÓN)

COOPERACIÓN is one of the MAEC-AECID scholarship programmes for young Spaniards, run by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID). Scholars spend 11 months in extracurricular training in development-cooperation management at Spanish Cooperation Offices or AECID specialist Training Centres abroad.

The 2025–26 call closed on 2 December 2025. AECID’s page now lists only the 2026–27 College of Europe call; no 2026–27 COOPERACIÓN call has been published.

Benefits & funding

An 11-month extracurricular training placement abroad.
A monthly stipend that depends on the destination (Annex I of the call), plus registration with Spanish Social Security.

Eligibility

Spanish nationality only; nationals of other EU countries cannot apply.
A university Grado (or Licenciatura) degree.
Aged 27 or under on 31 December of the call year (31 December 2025 in the last cycle).
An official certificate in one of the languages your destination requires (Annex I).
One application only: applying to both COOPERACIÓN and CULT voids both.

Application process

Check destinations, stipends and required languages in Annex I of the call.

Register in the Citizen Folder of AECID’s electronic office and hold an electronic certificate in your own name.

Complete the online form in Spanish within the window (10 working days after the BOE extract in 2025), attaching documents as PDFs; non-Spanish documents need a translation, which need not be official.

Admitted applicants go through a file evaluation, then an interview.
