Princeton in Asia (PiA) is a U.S.-based nonprofit that arranges immersive, one- or two-year work placements at partner host organizations across Asia. Fellows take on paid roles — most commonly in teaching, but also in fields such as economic development, environmental sustainability, public health, the arts, and STEM — while a Country Advisor supports their cultural immersion. The mission is to advance mutual understanding between the United States and Asia. Placements span a dozen countries, and the program is open to applicants of any nationality who hold a bachelor’s degree.
