Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University is a public women’s university in Riyadh. Its Scholarships Department admits non-Saudi women to four-year bachelor’s programs and a two-year Arabic diploma.
The external route, for women living outside Saudi Arabia, is a full scholarship. The internal route, for legal residents of the kingdom, charges bachelor’s tuition; its Arabic diploma is tuition-free. Both run through the Ministry of Education’s Study in Saudi platform; health programs are closed.
Benefits & funding
- External: free study, university housing, subsidized meals and full health care.
- A monthly stipend at the Saudi-student rate (figure not published), a two-month arrival allowance and a three-month graduation allowance.
- First flight refunded and a yearly round-trip ticket; visa fee paid for 1448 AH admits.
- Internal: SAR 10,000–17,500 tuition per semester, plus 15% VAT.
Eligibility
- Non-Saudi women of any nationality, aged 17 to 25.
- High-school diploma obtained no more than five years ago.
- No earlier Saudi scholarship, no past record at the university, no dismissal from a Saudi institution.
- External: living outside Saudi Arabia; diploma attested by the Saudi cultural mission; good-conduct certificate; home-government approval where required.
- External, Arab countries: humanities need 95/100; science and business set program tests and criteria.
- External, non-Arab countries: Hamza Academic Test B2, waived for English-taught programs after English-medium high school in an English-speaking country; otherwise the Arabic diploma, with no promised move to a bachelor’s.
- Internal: valid Saudi residency, plus the General Aptitude and Achievement Tests.
