The Point Foundation Flagship Scholarship combines need-based financial support with leadership development, community resources, and a national network. It serves LGBTQ+ and ally students pursuing bachelor’s, graduate, or professional degrees at accredited, not-for-profit institutions in the United States.

Recipients study full-time at their U.S. institutions. They also attend an in-person summer conference and one virtual program in each academic term.

Benefits & funding

  • A need-based financial award for tuition and fees; Point does not publish a fixed amount.
  • Annual renewal for up to four years of total support.
  • Leadership and career development through virtual workshops, an in-person summer conference, and other events.
  • Access to mentorship, community resources, and a network of more than 1,000 alumni and supporters.
  • Funds become available at the start of the fall term; summer study is not supported.
