Official Page

The Oxford Thai Foundation Scholarship supports outstanding candidates connected to Thailand who wish to complete the University of Oxford’s one-year Master of Public Policy. It is externally funded by the Oxford Thai Foundation and requires an Oxford MPP offer.

Recipients study full-time in Oxford on an applied public-policy degree. The foundation presents the scholarship as a way to develop future Thai public leaders and strengthen public-policy expertise.

Benefits & funding

  • Awards vary from full funding to partial scholarships; the official Oxford listing does not publish fixed award values.
  • The scholarship supports study on the 12-month, full-time MPP, which requires attendance in Oxford.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must hold an offer for the Oxford Master of Public Policy.
  • Applicants must either be ordinarily resident in Thailand or be Thai nationals committed to returning to Thailand soon after completing their studies to contribute through public service.
  • MPP applicants need a first-class or strong upper second-class undergraduate degree, or an equivalent qualification, and must meet Oxford’s higher-level English requirement.
  • The MPP has no fixed work-experience or age requirement; professional experience is viewed favourably, and most successful candidates have at least one or two years.
