The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Junior Professional Officers Programme develops young professionals interested in parliamentary diplomacy and international security. Participants work at the International Secretariat in Copenhagen or the Liaison Office in Vienna on policy research, Assembly activities, election observation support, drafting, administration, and outreach.
An initial contract lasts one year, including a three-month probation period, and may be extended once for up to one additional year. The programme page currently states that no vacancies are available.

- Applicants must be no older than 32.
- A master’s degree or equivalent in political science, international relations, law, or a related field is required.
- Excellent written and spoken English, strong analytical and writing skills, and an interest in international security and parliamentary diplomacy are required.
- At least two years of work in an international environment or parliamentary setting is highly desirable, but the official page presents this as a preference rather than a mandatory minimum.
- Knowledge of another official OSCE language and prior exposure to OSCE-related issues are assets.
