NTU Scholarship for Central & Eastern European Students — Bachelor's Scholarship

The NTU Scholarship for Central & Eastern European Students supports international students from eight eligible countries who pursue bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degrees at National Taiwan University in Taipei. NTU considers eligible applicants automatically alongside their degree application.

The award offsets tuition and provides a living stipend to the 4th year for bachelor’s and doctoral students, and to the 2nd year for master’s students. Continued funding requires an annual GPA of at least 3.38, while deferring admission ends the award.

Benefits & funding

Tuition and miscellaneous-fee support of up to NTD 100,000 per semester is listed on NTU’s current admissions page.
Recipients receive an NTD 8,000 monthly living stipend.
Administrative, thesis-advising, insurance, accommodation, internet, and credit fees are not covered.
Support runs to the 4th year for bachelor’s and doctoral recipients and to the 2nd year for master’s recipients, subject to annual renewal.
NTU’s guidance for existing recipients groups the CEEC scholarship under an NTD 65,000 tuition cap; awardees should confirm which cap applies to their cohort.

Eligibility

Applicants must be international degree students from Austria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, or Slovakia.
The scholarship covers bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree study at NTU.
Renewal requires an annual GPA of 3.38 or higher.
Deferring admission after receiving the award causes the scholarship to lapse.
