The NTU Scholarship for British Virgin Islands Students supports international degree students from the British Virgin Islands entering undergraduate study at National Taiwan University in Taipei. Eligible applicants are considered through NTU’s international degree application rather than a separate scholarship form.

The award can continue for up to four years. Admission and scholarship decisions are released together, but receiving one does not guarantee the other.

Benefits & funding

  • Tuition and miscellaneous-fee relief of up to TWD 100,000 per semester.
  • A living allowance of TWD 8,000 per month.
  • Funding for up to four years, subject to annual renewal.
  • Agency fees, thesis-advising fees, insurance, accommodation, internet access and credit fees are not covered.

Eligibility

  • Be an international degree applicant from the British Virgin Islands.
  • Apply to an NTU undergraduate program and hold at least a high school diploma or equivalent; current-year graduates may submit provisional graduation or enrollment evidence.
  • Maintain an annual overall GPA of at least 3.38 to renew the scholarship.
  • Deferring admission causes the scholarship to be forfeited.
