The Nemesio Díez Foundation Scholarship is a named award within the IESE International Foundation Scholarship Program. It supports eligible candidates entering IESE Business School’s Master in Finance, Master in Management or full-time MBA.

MiF and MiM recipients study primarily in Madrid, while MBA recipients study primarily in Barcelona for 15 or 19 months. The scholarship is intended to lower the tuition barrier for candidates with an excellent academic record, limited financial resources or both.

Benefits & funding

  • The award provides tuition support; IESE does not publish a fixed amount for this named scholarship.
  • For the MBA route, individual IESE scholarships typically cover 10% to 50% of tuition, and living expenses are not covered.

  • Applicants must hold Spanish or Mexican nationality.
  • Applicants must present an excellent academic record, limited financial resources or both.
  • Applicants must apply to the IESE MiF, MiM or MBA and meet that degree’s admission requirements.

Application process

    Apply to the chosen IESE degree through its official application route.

    For MiF or MiM, include the required scholarship cover letter within the application; for the MBA, submit the scholarship essay with the MBA application.

    MBA candidates may indicate up to three relevant scholarships, but the admissions committee makes the final allocation.

    MBA scholarship consideration begins only after admission, and the scholarship committee reviews applications in each admissions round.
