Mitsubishi Entrepreneurship Scholarship — Master's Scholarship

The Mitsubishi Entrepreneurship Scholarship supports entrepreneurs admitted to the IESE Executive MBA who have started or are developing a business. IESE offers it in collaboration with Mitsubishi Electric.

The 18-month, part-time EMBA is taught on campus in Barcelona, Madrid, Munich and São Paulo. Recipients combine executive management study with their continuing professional work.

Benefits & funding

Scholarship support toward the recipient’s IESE Executive MBA studies; IESE does not publish the award amount or percentage for this scholarship.
The associated EMBA lasts 18 months and follows a part-time, on-campus format.

Eligibility

Be admitted to the IESE Executive MBA before applying for an EMBA scholarship.
Have started or be developing a new business.
Meet EMBA admission requirements, including at least five years of work experience and an official university degree.
Submit employer support, two recommendations, an accepted admissions test and, when required, proof of English proficiency.
IESE publishes no nationality, residency or gender restriction for this scholarship; applicants facing financial difficulty receive special consideration.

Application process

Choose the Barcelona, Madrid, Munich or São Paulo EMBA edition and submit its online application.

Upload the required documents, complete an accepted admissions test and attend the admissions interview.

After admission, complete the location-specific scholarship form within the applicable deadline.

Candidates may seek more than one scholarship category, but IESE awards at most one scholarship per person; the award cannot be deferred with admission.
